I'm Barna.

Started out with photography, then spent over a decade as a designer and art director working with global brands across industries from automotive to tech. That experience sharpened my eye and taught me how to balance narrative with detail (and gave me more hours in meetings than I’d like to admit).

My photography lives at the intersection of people and nature—how we fit into landscapes and how landscapes shape us. I’m drawn to stories and places that aren’t obvious—stories you have to work for: climbing a mountain, walking for hours, or traveling somewhere unexpected. The best ones come from patience and presence, not staging.

Based in Europe and open to assignments here—and wherever curiosity leads.
